Professional Statement

I am currently a senior at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon. I go to
school full time as an Integrative Studies major, while working 25-30 hours each week as a
barista at Sorbenots Coffee. Overall, my main goal is to graduate in Spring 2020 and attend
nursing school in the fall, followed by a career as an Emergency room nurse in the Eastern
Oregon Region, which I have slowly been working towards for 2 years. I have a diverse work
background ranging from greenhouse nursery to receptionist to food service. My broad
experience of jobs has taught me to work for and with people, or even to lead them. In my time,
I have gathered certifications like my food handlers card, first aid certification, computer efficacy,
and even a course completion of phlebotomy. These experiences had played a huge role in
making myself a well-rounded and well-versed individual.
